Pledge of Allegiance of the United States

"I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

In 1954, in response to the Communist threat of the times, President Eisenhower encouraged Congress to add the words "under God," creating the 31-word pledge we say today. Today it reads:

"I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

Section 4 of the Flag Code states:

The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag: "I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.", should be rendered by standing at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart. When not in uniform men should remove any non-religious headdress with their right hand and hold it at the left shoulder, the hand being over the heart. Persons in uniform should remain silent, face the flag, and render the military salute."

No Cover Up’s

It’s amazing how everybody has hurt, pain & sorrow- its what you do with it? Do you put a band-aid on it & go on, do you try to find something to alleviate the pain, or do you try pushing it under the rug hoping no one ever pulls the rug out from under you?

Will you allow God to heal it all or just go on with life like nothing has ever happened to you?

Allow God to heal it all getting to the very root of the problem. God may spit in the mud & put that on your eyes for healing, tell you to dip 7 times in the Jordan, tell you to walk on the water to Him in the midst of the storm, turn your water to wine for rejoicing at a wedding, or may wait for your Lazarus to die & bring it back to life.

We serve a Big God who has un-stoppable & un-thinkable ways to bring hope, healing & restoration! Don’t allow anymore cover-ups.

Isaiah 53 says, Jesus bore your sicknesses & distresses. He carried your sorrows & pains. He was smitten & afflicted for you. He was wounded for your transgressions. He was beaten & bruised, and by HIS stripes YOU ARE HEALED!
