Pledge of Allegiance of the United States

"I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

In 1954, in response to the Communist threat of the times, President Eisenhower encouraged Congress to add the words "under God," creating the 31-word pledge we say today. Today it reads:

"I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

Section 4 of the Flag Code states:

The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag: "I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.", should be rendered by standing at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart. When not in uniform men should remove any non-religious headdress with their right hand and hold it at the left shoulder, the hand being over the heart. Persons in uniform should remain silent, face the flag, and render the military salute."

He Loves Me

Posted on February 15, 2013 by katherine

Not sure if you ever played the childish game with your friends when you were young where you have a flower & you picked off the petals one by one & as you drop the petals to the ground you say, he loves me, he loves me not until you run out of petals, and then you see if He really loves you.

Well, He(God) Really Loves You, so you can stop playing those silly games & realize you are loved beyond description!!

You don’t need anyone to tell you- you are loved! You have a Holy Bible that tells you all throughout it how much you are loved! OH, HOW HE LOVES YOU!!

“For God so loved (put your name here) that He gave his only begotten son, so that everyone who believes in Him shall not die but have eternal life.” John 3:16
