Pledge of Allegiance of the United States

"I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

In 1954, in response to the Communist threat of the times, President Eisenhower encouraged Congress to add the words "under God," creating the 31-word pledge we say today. Today it reads:

"I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

Section 4 of the Flag Code states:

The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag: "I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.", should be rendered by standing at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart. When not in uniform men should remove any non-religious headdress with their right hand and hold it at the left shoulder, the hand being over the heart. Persons in uniform should remain silent, face the flag, and render the military salute."

Let God Out of Your Box

When I was growing up, we lived in the outskirts of town in Georgia.  One day, I saw a box turtle on the side of the road.  I begged my mother to stop the car so I could get the turtle to take it home.  After about two days, the turtle kept trying to get out of my box.

Just as I was holding that turtle captive, are you holding God hostage in your box?  By that I mean, do you have your own agendas, plans, or timetables for your life? I encourage you to let God be God.  Release God from your boxes or entrapments.  God is thinking bigger & better than what we can think.  If God can change water to wine, spit in the mud and rub on eyes to heal someone, make a donkey speak, place coins in the mouth of a fish, and raise many people from the dead, then He’s got your life & situation under control.

“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord.  And, my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.”  Isaiah 55:8 NLT

Be willing to say, Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done in my life today.  He will order your footsteps & perfect everything that concerns you.  He is going before you, around you, beneath you, and behind you- you are covered by Him & His precious blood.  And, His timing on everything in your life is perfect.  Believe it!

I prophesy over you now, Isaiah 55:12, “You’ll go out in joy, you’ll be led into a whole and complete life.”  Another version says, “You will go out with joy and be led out in peace.”

Let His Joy & Peace surround you as you relinquish, set free, and surrender to God and let Him out of your box.

DAY 37 - DAILY HISTORY - AMERICAN MINUTE FOR JUNE 30, 2012

June 30

The first European settlement in North America was Fort Caroline at St. John's River in Florida, founded by French Christians known as Huguenots.

On JUNE 30, 1564, they set a day of Thanksgiving and offered the first Protestant prayer in North America:

"We sang a psalm of Thanksgiving unto God, beseeching Him that it would please Him to continue His accustomed goodness towards us."

Rep. Charles E. Bennett sponsored a bill, September 21, 1950, establishing the Fort Caroline National Memorial.

In 1989, Rep. Bennett recited the history:

"The 425th anniversary of the beginning settlements by Europeans...renamed from Fort Caroline to San Mateo, to San Nicolas, to Cowford and finally to Jacksonville in 1822...

Three small ships carrying 300 Frenchmen led by Rene de Laudonniere anchored in the river known today as the St. Johns."

Charles Bennett continued:

"On June 30, 1564, construction of a triangular-shaped fort...was begun with the help of a local tribe of Timucuan Indians...

Home for this hardy group of Huguenots...their strong religious...motivations inspired them."

Rep. Bennett related the colony's unfortunate end:

"Fort Caroline existed but for a short time...Spain...captured...the fort and...slaughtered most of its inhabitants in September of 1565."

DAY 37 - DAILY PRAYER (RESTORATION) - JUNE 30, 2012

June 30

Father God,

We come to you from our darkened home with great thanks for Your protection from the storms. Father, as many in our nation have gone through trials and tribulations, we also join them through weathering today's storm in Lancaster, Ohio. Although our power is out, we rejoice in Your ever-present light! We claim victory through Your son over death, and rejoice over a chance to live to see another sunrise tomorrow. We thank you for diverting disaster that could have come from the sky in way of a funnel cloud, but was made simply strong winds to spare us utter disaster.

Lord, as others in our nation go today without shelter, or food, or proper clothing, we ask that you would inspire us to share our numerous blessings. Help us to share hope through Your love and the redemption of sin. Help our hearts to be truly thankful for Your blessings, and may we never forget the lesson of faith that You teach us in the storms of life.

In Jesus' powerful name we pray. Amen!

It Is Well With My Soul

I was preparing for www.dailyliveworship.com podcast & Bryan was singing, “It Is Well With My Soul” and I looked up the meaning behind the song.

The writer of the great song, Horatio G. Spafford, was a successful lawyer in Chicago, and was very dedicated to Christ.  He lost some substantial real estate in the Chicago fire that devasted Chicago in the 1870’s. Prior to that, he lost his son.  Then, 2 years later, his four girls drown aboard an English vessel accident.  After going to where the girls drown, with pen & paper in hand, he wrote this incredible song titled, “It Is Well With My Soul”

“When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,

When sorrows like sea billows roll;

Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say,

It is well, it is well, with my soul.”

So, prior to reading this, I was complaining about loosing Bryan and how hard it is to be a single parent to four girls, but after reading Spafford’s story.  I decided instead I will say, “IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL”

What are you going through that you might just need to say with me now, out loud- IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL!!

DAY 36 - DAILY PRAYER (SUPREME COURT) - JUNE 29, 2012

June 29

For our Supreme Court Justices

O Lord, I bring our Supreme Court Justices before You. Knowing that they are appointed by man, I pray that You will influence the selection of each new replacement. Guide them to choose people who will judge morally in every matter brought before them.
As our Justices make their decisions, I pray that their decrees are in accord with Your Will, not that of man. Help them set a standard of justice and balance for the judicial office at large, not only on a national level, but for every adjudicator in our nation. Amen.

"I would rather be right than President," stated Henry Clay, who died JUNE 29, 1852.

The son of a Baptist minister, Henry Clay was elected Speaker of the U.S. House 6 times, having served in Congress over 40 years with Daniel Webster and John Calhoun.

The State of Kentucky placed Henry Clay's statue in the U.S. Capitol's Statuary Hall.

Struggling to hold the Union together prior to the Civil War, Henry Clay stated in 1829 to the Kentucky Colonization Society in Frankfort:

"Eighteen hundred years have rolled away since the Son of God...offered Himself...for the salvation of our species...

When we shall...be translated from this into another form of existence...we shall behold the common Father of the whites and blacks, the great Ruler of the Universe."

In an obituary address upon his death, Representative John C. Breckinridge recalled Henry Clay as saying:

"The vanity of the world, and its insufficiency to satisfy the soul of man, has been long a settled conviction of my mind.

Man's inability to secure by his own merits the approbation of God, I feel to be true."

Henry Clay concluded:

"I trust in the atonement of the Saviour of mercy, as the ground of my acceptance and of my hope of salvation."

DAY 35 - DAILY HISTORY - AMERICAN MINUTE FOR JUNE 28, 2012

June 28

The Constitutional Convention was in a deadlock over how large and small states could be represented equally.

Some delegates gave up and left.

Then, on JUNE 28, 1787, 81-year-old Benjamin Franklin spoke and shortly after, the U.S. Constitution became a reality.

As recorded by James Madison, Franklin stated:

"Groping as it were in the dark to find political truth, and scarce able to distinguish it when presented to us, how has it happened, Sir, that we have not hitherto once thought of humbly applying to the Father of lights."

Franklin continued:

"In the beginning of the Contest with Great Britain, when we were sensible of danger, we had daily prayer in this room for Divine protection.

Our prayers, Sir, were heard and they were graciously answered.

All of us who were engaged in the struggle must have observed frequent instances of a Superintending Providence in our favor...

And have we now forgotten that powerful Friend? or do we imagine we no longer need His assistance?"

Franklin concluded:

"We have been assured, Sir, in the Sacred Writings, that 'except the Lord build the House, they labor in vain that build it.'...

I also believe that without his concurring aid we shall succeed...no better than the Builders of Babel."

Standing on the Promises

“…He who promised is faithful.” (Hebrews 10:23b)

Don’t you hate when people break their promises? I am so glad to know that God never breaks His promises.

Has God given you a specific promise that hasn’t come to pass yet?  Is someone or something trying to deter you from continuing to believe in the promise God gave you?  I want to encourage you to stand on His promise!  He will fulfill His Word. He is forever faithful!

As I was preparing for this devotion, I was reading about Russell Kelso Carter (1849-1928). Carter seemed to have a great life from being a great athlete, a successful teacher, and coach.  Then, he went on to become a Methodist preacher and a medical doctor.  Believe it or not, Carter was also a musician & songwriter. Around the age of 30, Carter began to have heart problems to where it was very serious, and the doctors did all they could to help him, to no avail. That is when he determined healing or no healing He took God at His Word.  Carter turned to God for his healing and began standing on His Promises for his healing.

Over the next months, Carter began to feel better and he was healed.  He lived another 49 years.  During the course of the months when he was still standing on the promises of God for his healing, he wrote the beautiful song, Standing on the Promises:

Standing on the promises of Christ my King, Through eternal ages let His praises ring, Glory in the highest, I will shout and sing, Standing on the promises of God.

Standing, standing, Standing on the promises of God my Savior; Standing, standing, Standing on the promises of God. Standing on the promises that cannot fail,

When the howling storms of doubt and fear assail, By the living Word of God I shall prevail, Standing on the promises of God.

Standing on the promises, I now can see, Perfect, present cleansing in the blood for me; Standing in the liberty where Christ makes free, Standing on the promises of God.

Standing on the promises of Christ the Lord, Bound to Him eternally by love’s strong cord, Overcoming daily with the Spirit sword, Standing on the promises of God. Standing on the promises I cannot fall, Listening every moment to the Spirit’s call Resting in my Savior as my all in all, Standing on the promises of God.

Carter stood strong on God’s Word & Promise.  Let’s stand strong on all of God’s promises! He is faithful.

I believe God is anxiously waiting to fulfill all of His promises in and through you? Don’t let anyone or anything cause doubt or fear.

Let’s believe God for what He’s promised, and believe Him for even greater things!

“…He who promised is faithful.” (Hebrews 10:23b)

DAY 34 - DAILY PRAYER (CALAMITY) - JUNE 27, 2012

June 27

CALAMITY

Father, we pray this prayer for Colorado, as it is engulfed by wildfires, for Florida as it recovers from Hurricane Debby, and for the upper parts of the country that are saturated in flood waters.  Lord God, come to the deliverance of these areas that are undergoing natural disaster, and protect the people of these lands from harm.

BEHOLD, THE EYE OF THE LORD IS ON THOSE WHO FEAR HIM, ON THOSE WHO HOPE IN HIS MERCY,
TO DELIVER THEIR SOUL FROM DEATH, AND TO KEEP THEM ALIVE IN FAMINE.
THE LORD IS MERCIFUL AND GRACIOUS, SLOW TO ANGER, AND ABOUNDING IN MERCY.

Psalm 33:18, 19; Psalm 103:8.

Loving Saviour Jesus,A single word from You can protect us from every perilous calamities since by Your word alone, the heavens, the earth and all living creatures were made. As the Bible says, "It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man and in princes", I trust only in You Lord. Your word says, "those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing." I once again acknowledge that You who made a way for Your people through the Red Sea, You who stopped the rains for three years, You who rebuked the storms and walked on the sea, You are present today with the same authority and power to save us from this calamity.Lord, if there be any unconfessed sin in my life, I confess them all to You and Lord, please forgive them for me. Help me to stand firm in You and to live a life pleasing to You hereafter. Wash me with Your blood that the sin may not be an obstacle for You to save me in this critical hour. Keep me as the apple of Your eye and build a hedge around me. You have promised, "Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me."Father, I know that Your righteous right hand will protect us and keep us all safe from every disaster as You are our refuge and ever-present help in times of trouble. I praise You and thank You for Your loving-kindness. Amen

Helen Keller was born JUNE 27, 1880.

At the age of two she suffered an illness that left her blind and deaf.

Her parents took her to Dr. Alexander Graham Bell who recommended the Perkins Institute for the Blind in Boston.

There, at age of 7, Helen was tutored by Anne Sullivan through the sense of touch.

Eventually Helen Keller learned to read Braille and began attending Radcliffe College, where Anne Sullivan interpreted lectures.

Helen became concerned about all the blind, especially those blinded in war or by poor working conditions.

She received numerous international honors for her efforts.

Helen Keller learned to type on a Braille typewriter and wrote many books between 1903 and 1941, including: The Story of My Life, Optimism, The World I Live In, The Song of the Stone Wall, Out of the Dark, My Religion, Midstream, Let Us Have Faith, and The Open Door.

Helen Keller stated:

"The Bible is one mighty representative of the whole spiritual life of humanity."

Helen Keller wrote:

"I thank God for my handicaps, for, through them, I have found myself, my work, and my God."

Helen Keller concluded:

"Four things to learn in life: To think clearly without hurry...

To love everybody sincerely...

To act in everything with the highest motives...

To trust God unhesitatingly."

DAY 33 - DAILY DEVOTION - JUNE 26, 2012

June 26

Forms of Godliness/Religious Spirit

2 Timothy 3:5 (KJV)  “Having a form of godliness…”

Forms of Godliness or Religious Spirits sound like something that none of us would have, it sounds like something back in Bible days.  A religious spirit is holding a person to a certain standard.  It’s a “form of godliness” which is control, expectation, judging, and manipulation.

Recently, I found myself judging someone based off my “forms of godliness”. In reality, I had a religious spirit and didn’t even know it.  I had all these un-realistic expectations of this person.  I found myself trying to figure out why this person was not measuring up to what I thought they should be or do.  I was holding them captive just like a slave.   I was not allowing them the freedom that Christ gives.

There are a several examples in the Bible about religious spirits.  I want to talk about two of them:

1) In John 12:3-8, Mary anointed Jesus’ feet with expensive perfume.  Judas Iscariot became angry and upset.  He was trying to manipulate and control the situation.  He was upholding his standards. Mary was free to do what she felt she needed to do, but it bothered Judas.  Why do we always try to interfere with other people’s business?

2) In Matthew 12:10, Mark 3:2, John 9:14, and John 5:17-18 we see Jesus healing on the Sabbath.  The Pharisees insisted that Jesus broke the ritual or the standard placed by the law for healing on the Sabbath.

Just like the Pharisees, I found myself placing expectations/standards on friends of how I thought their healing should come because of the way it came for me.  How can I expect God to heal the same way every time?   We see in the Bible so many different ways that God healed from spitting on mud to just speaking the Word.

In Galatians 5:1 (GW) it says, “Christ has freed us so that we may enjoy the benefits of freedom. Therefore, be firm in this freedom, and don’t become slaves again.”

I was also judging decisions, lifestyles, and ways people worship.  I was putting God in a box by doing that and not allowing God to be God.  I was holding them hostage to my ideas and thoughts.  Christ came to bring us freedom and life.   What bondages are you holding over people?  Will you free someone today?   You were created for something far greater than holding someone in bondage.   I just have to say, let it go and be FREE!!

We cry out to you God to check our hearts and see if we have any “forms of godliness/religious spirits” inside.  I’m asking God to expose those spirits right now.  Let’s get rid of them and ask God to purify our hearts.  Religious Spirits kill and Jesus came to bring Life.

There is freedom in Him!  You were created for Worshiping Him.  I proclaim liberty to the captives and His anointing so strong on you right now.  He has called you for such a time as this, to bring forth healing and spread it to the nations.

Isaiah 61 (NLT), “…God has anointed us to bring good news to the poor.  He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed.

DAY 33 - DAILY PRAYER (MORAL NATION) - JUNE 26, 2012

June 26

For a Moral Nation

O Heavenly Father, I know that the spirit of worldliness can creep into the Body of Christ very subtly, and before we know it, we can so easily be led astray. I pray You send Your Holy Spirit upon us, so that a moral, Christian voice can be heard and heeded by our leaders and the media. Cause us, as Christians, to become the standard bearers to such a degree that we can profoundly affect the morality of this nation. Turn our people's hearts to You. Open our eyes that we may see the error of our ways. Gather all Christians, Catholic and Protestant, together so that we form a united front against the wickedness and snares of the devil. Disarm the evildoers, leaving them powerless and not in control of our great nation. Inspire our media--television, newscasters, reporters, filmmakers, and celebrities--to promote a truly moral social justice and morally righteous entertainment and fashion. Be our strength when we are tempted to succumb to worldy things and ways. Help us to lead our lives all for the greater honor and glory of God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

DAY 33 - DAILY HISTORY - AMERICAN MINUTE FOR JUNE 26, 2012

June 26

The United Nations Charter was signed JUNE 26, 1945, by 51 member nations.

Two months earlier, President Truman addressed the delegates:

"At no time in history has there been a more important Conference than this one in San Francisco which you are opening today...

We beseech our Almighty God to guide us in the building of a permanent monument to those who gave their lives that this moment might come."

In 1953, President Eisenhower addressed the UN:

"The whole book of history reveals mankind's never-ending quest for peace and mankind's God-given capacity to build."

On June 10, 1963, Dwight Eisenhower told the Convention of the National Junior Chamber of Commerce in Minneapolis:

"The United Nations has seemed to be two distinct things to the two worlds divided by the iron curtain...

To the free world it has seemed that it should be a constructive forum...

To the Communist world it has been a convenient sounding board for their propaganda, a weapon to be exploited in spreading disunity and confusion."

Former President Herbert Hoover told the American Newspaper Publishers Association in 1959:

"I suggest that the United Nations be reorganized...with those peoples who disavow communism, who stand for morals and religion, and who love freedom...

What the world needs today is a definite, spiritual mobilization of the nations who believe in God against this tide of Red agnosticism."

Hoover ended:

"It is a proposal for moral and spiritual cooperation of God-fearing free nations...rejecting an atheistic other world."

DAY 32 - DAILY DEVOTION - JUNE 25, 2012

June 25

Let Go & Let God

Do you feel like you’ve been playing a game of tug & war with things that you know you should have released over to Him, but for some reason you are still holding onto them?

I am sure you have heard the saying, Let Go & Let God.  It’s really just that simple.  You have to come to a place where you are tired of struggling and are so desperate to give it all to Him, not holding back on anything.  All or none!  There is no in between.  You’ve held onto it long enough.  Now is the time to Let Go & Let God!

Let go of the pride, girlfriend, career, choices you’ve made, or climbing the corporate ladder.  Release it all to Him- He wants to take ahold of you & point you in the right direction.   Lay it down at His feet!   He is so ready to take the load from you.   Jesus is saying to you right now “Come to me, all who are tired from carrying heavy loads, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28 (GW)

When you Let Go & Let God that’s when we can finally  “..run straight toward the goal to win the prize that God’s heavenly call offers in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:14 (GW)

DAY 32 - DAILY PRAYER (ANGER) - JUNE 25, 2012

June 25

Heavenly Father,

Please help me to dwell on the good and the positive in my life. I know that it is You who examines our hearts. Search the inner depths of my heart and expose anything that is not of You so I can be set free of it.
Lord, where I have directed anger toward others in my life or held anger inside of me, I confess that as sin and ask You to forgive me and take all the anger away. Heal any wounds that I have inflicted, through my words and actions, in others and myself. Help me to speak sweet words and healing, for I know that pleases You. Where I have shown anger toward others I confess it to you as sin. Bring Your restoration to every situation where it is needed.
Thank You, Lord, that You will redeem my soul in peace from the battle that is against me. I believe that You, the God of peace will crush the enemy under my feet. Help me to live righteously because I know there is a connection between obedience to Your ways and peace. Help me to depart from thoughts of anger and bouts with depression; help me to seek peace and actively pursue it. Thank You that You will take away all anger in me and keep me in perfect peace, because my mind is fixed on You Father.  In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

DAY 32- DAILY HISTORY - AMERICAN MINUTE FOR JUNE 25, 2012

June 25

The Korean War started JUNE 25, 1950.

Communist North Korea invaded South Korea, killing thousands.

General Douglas MacArthur was given command of the U.N. Forces and after a daring landing of troops at Inchon, MacArthur recaptured the city of Seoul.

Political involvement prolonged the war, resulting in high casualties.

President Truman stated in his 1952 Christmas Message:

"Our hearts turn first of all to our brave men and women in Korea.

They are fighting and suffering and even dying that we may preserve the chance of peace in the world."

Truman continued:

"Let us remember always to try to act...in the spirit of the Prince of Peace.

He bore in His heart no hate and no malice - nothing but love for all mankind.

We should...follow His example...

As we pray for our men and women in Korea...let us also pray for our enemies...

Through Jesus Christ the world will yet be a better and a fairer place."

General Douglas MacArthur led the United Nations Command in the Korean War from 1950 to 1951.

He made a successful landing at Incheon, deep behind North Korean lines, and recaptured Seoul. To the Salvation Army, December 12, 1951, General Douglas MacArthur said:

"History fails to record a single precedent in which nations subject to moral decay have not passed into political and economic decline.

There has been either a spiritual awakening to overcome the moral lapse, or a progressive deterioration leading to ultimate national disaster."

Harry S Truman, December 24, 1952, in a nationally broadcast address upon lighting the National Community Christmas Tree, Washington, D.C., Public Papers of the Presidents. MacArthur, Douglas. DAY 31- DAILY BIBLE VERSE (I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU) - JUNE 24, 2012

June 24

Deuteronomy 31:6

6Be strong and brave, and don’t tremble in fear of them, because the Eternal your God is going with you. He’ll never fail you or abandon you!

DAY 31- DAILY DEVOTION - JUNE 24, 2012

June 24

Not Abandoned

As crazy as it sounds when Bryan died, I felt like he abandoned me.   All I could think was I was all alone now.   All these questions of “Why” kept hounding me. The devil will use anything to make you feel all alone, deserted, or forsaken even when it may be out of your control.  I finally had to rise up & declare what the Word of God says.

Have you ever felt abandoned?  There are times in our lives when we may feel all alone or like someone or something has abandoned us.  Even Jesus felt abandoned by God when He was on the cross, yet He was fulfilling His purpose.   Look at Matthew 27:46(NIV) “About the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?”–which means, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”

Are you in your ninth hour crying out, “My God, why have you forsaken me?”  The devil would love for you to feel hopeless to where you want to give up on God, your purpose, or other people.  He will also try anything to make you feel like you are on a deserted island far away from everyone.  Feelings are feelings- they come & they go. Don’t base your destiny/purpose on feelings.  Base them on the Word of God.  I encourage you now to Rise up & say what the Word of God says:

Deuteronomy 31:8 (AMP) “It is the Lord Who goes before you; He will [march] with you; He will not fail you or let you go or forsake you; [let there be no cowardice or flinching, but] fear not, neither become broken [in spirit--depressed, dismayed, and unnerved with alarm].”

Joshua 1:5 (ASV) “There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life. as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee; I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.”

Joshua 1:5 (NLT) “No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live. For I will be with you as I was with Moses. I will not fail you or abandon you.”

Hebrews 13:5b (AMP)-  “…I will not in any way fail you, nor give you up, nor leave you without support.  I will not, I will not, I will not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let you down, relax..”

Rest assured that Father God is with you & He will NEVER leave you nor forsake you.  He has Always been & Always will be with you!

DAY 31- DAILY PRAYER (SEXUAL ABUSE) - JUNE 24, 2012

June 24

“God, we pray for victims of sexual abuse. We pray for healing. We pray for deep comfort. We pray that you will restore what has been stolen and broken. While you do not alter history, you reveal your love in the present and the future. What seems hopelessly shattered, in you can be redeemed. For the many millions who have been defiled in sexual abuse, show yourself to be loving and able – as you are willing – to give back life, and life abundant. Yes, there is great pain in this world. There is injustice. There is evil. We turn to you and cry out for help and healing. We cannot help but wonder why such horrible abuse happens. But we turn from “why?” and ask instead, “how?” How now will your perfect goodness and love find expression in the shadow of wickedness? God, you are good and loving and also all powerful. Yet you have risked giving humans the right to choose how we will live. Some choose evil. For those who are victims of other’s vile deeds, we ask you for grace and healing. For those who have suffered, come to them tenderly and with overwhelming and powerful love. We join Jesus’ and borrow his words, “Be freed from your suffering..” God, Heal the victims of sexual abuse, in Jesus name.”
